Employee Wellness Guide and Plan

As one of our priorities for 2024/25, we've been looking at the mental health provision and perception in Barnsley. One key area we looked at was the mental wellbeing of our own staff and volunteers.

We want to create a positive environment where staff and volunteers feel supported, valued and respected and an environment where they felt comfortable seeking help.

To help us with this we created an Employee Wellness Plan and Guide, which is a personalised tool that everyone can use to identify what helps us stay well at work, what can cause mental health issues, and how to address them if they occur.

We would like to share the plan and guide as it can easily be adapted for use in other organisations. Get in touch and let us know if you found it useful and have been able to put it to use in your workplace.
