Saxondale Nursing Home on Clarke Street in Barnsley run by Bestcare UK Limited. Saxondale provides residential care to older people living with dementia, nursing needs, mental health conditions and physical disabilities.
Following the inspection CQC rated the service as Good in the following areas
- Safe
- Effective
- Caring
- Responsive
- Well-led
Inspectors found that the provider had worked closely with the local authority since the last inspection and discovered that governance systems have been effectively implemented and the management have taken steps to improve systems.
During the assessment Inspectors spoke to staff and relatives who gave positive feedback on the improvements that have been made and felt that "things have improved and the is a better awareness of what is going on"
